After moving to New Orleans in 2000, Roan & Kelly began exploring various musical genres. It was during this time they would both contribute to a multitude of projects, including their own solo releases. In 2022, they quietly began writing and recording songs for what would become the “Roan & Kelly” project. Pulling from the music they loved as children, and the years spent playing live in New Orleans, the Smith brothers are creating compositions that are rooted in a love for musicianship, craft, creativity, & tradition.
